Frequently Asked Questions: Wedding Edition
Do you have a minimum?
We do.
For full-service weddings where we dedicate most of the day to your wedding, we have a minimum spend of $7,000.
If you're looking for something more flexible, we offer tiered services such as delivery only, studio pickup, or à la carte items for more intimate weddings and events. Check here for those offerings.
What is the process of working with From the Ground Up Floral like?
We love weddings! We also know how stressful they can be. We've been doing weddings for 18 years. For more insights into the process, we have a welcome guide. We also have a YouTube channel for a fun dive into the behind-the-scenes.
Do you use eco-friendly practices?
We do.
We no longer use the green floral foam. We have made many changes in how we mechanically create our arrangements. We want to do the best we can to leave a small footprint.
Do you offer local flowers?
Absolutely! I even grow some of my own. The past few years, I have been working with my mom to grow from seed a ton of really gorgeous flowers! We're so excited to be growing and learning so much.
I also purchase majority of my florals locally and belong to the Slow Flowers Society. A group promoting US grown product. I love to support my local flower farmers! Vetted International growers are supported more for bulk orders and off season. Interested in using only local and/or seasonal flowers? We’re happy to accommodate!
Can I be sure you'll use (insert your favorite flower here) flower?
Nope, but hear me out...Mother Nature can be a "bleep" sometimes. So, rolling with that and keeping true to being artists. We don't ever PROMISE a certain flower or a perfect match color for a flower. We will have a variety of flowers in mind for your event. We base the design on your overall color and style.
We service Greater Washington state. We do offer travel. Frequent areas of service include Woodinville, East-side, Bellevue, Kirkland, Bothell. Seattle, Renton, Tacoma, Puyallup, and beyond.
