Concrete and Class: An intimate wedding at Loews Hotel 1000

Welcome to the Loews Hotel 1000.

The outside of Loews Hotel 1000.

A perfect place for that intimate wedding right downtown. This gorgeous minimony was captured impeccably by Sarah Anne Thomson Photography. She has such a way of creating a sexy, moody vibe while at the same time keeping it classic and beautiful for years to come. Kristy and Tyler found us on Instagram!

Kristy and Tyler:

“We first met at a mutual friend's housewarming party. Well, he happened to be my friend's co-worker, but they had recently been on a work trip together, so this was the first time he was invited to our group. I immediately knew there was something special about him before we said anything to each other. Then later that week, our friends planned a weekend beach trip in a cabin, and I remember trying all week to find out through our friend if he was going, but our friend wouldn't tell me lol, so I went in hopes he'd be there, and sure enough, he was trying to figure out the same thing and was there. Ever since, we have always had this undeniable connection towards each other, and I absolutely couldn't imagine my life without him. I joke around and tell him he could never die before me, but truthfully I mean it; I don't want to know a life where he's not in it every day.”

Persistence and friendship:

Kristy and Tyler: “We met over 7 years ago at a friend's housewarming party. I immediately knew when I saw him that he was the one. We have always maintained a healthy, loving relationship for one another even though life had taken us on different paths. and then one day he texted me insisting I try this peanut butter that he loves and that he bring it over and I refused...but being the persistent guy that he is he went to the store and told me he was in the peanut butter aisle, I told him to not get me anything, he replied with flavor suggestions, I said I don't want any of them, he said he grabbed me two to try, I said I will buy them myself if I wanted them, he said he already checked out and was on his way. lol I met him in the driveway, grabbed them, and went inside. A week later, he invited me to his family's Thanksgiving. I said that I didn't want to go, but he said he was picking me up in the morning! I told him not to, but I got ready just in case, and sure enough, he picked me up, and we've been together ever since lol. I think that dahlias, peonies, and hydrangeas are beautiful! And different types of greenery/twigs to incorporate the PNW. He always gets me roses, but that’s all that is at our grocery store lol.”

Me: What is your favorite snack to eat together?

Kristy and Tyler: Are French fries considered a snack? LOL

Me: Favorite activity together besides staring lovingly at each other?

Kristy and Tyler: We always work out together 4-6 days a week and then for sure movie time with our 2 pups!
