Styled Shoot: A study in movement, ballet, and Pantone fuzzy peach floral

Ballerina Dreams: A Styled Shoot Blending Grace and Romance

In the world of weddings, inspiration comes in many forms. Sometimes, it's the delicate beauty of spring flowers. Other times, it's the timeless elegance of a ballerina's graceful movements. And when these two elements intertwine, the result is pure magic. This styled shoot captures the essence of both, creating a visual symphony that's both romantic and ethereal. The shoot's color palette centers around soft pinks, reminiscent of blooming garden roses and a ballerina's delicate pointe shoes. Here is what the mood board looked like that we used for inspiration.

Delicacy in bloom

I created a one-of-a-kind bouquet for this. It took literally hours of wiring to create such an intricate bouquet. This bouquet is special. It craves the spotlight. It doubles as a hair/headpiece. So after the ceremony, it can be fashioned to be worn and not have to be left in a vase on a table somewhere not getting any attention. I also created a more classic bouquet and a smaller hair piece that could be clipped in the hair easily.

The location

We were invited to create this creative shoot at the beautiful Hideaway Cellars. Using the space in a different direction than often considered by most couples, Kim with Into Dust Photography caught the light perfectly and I just loved placing the larger pieces up high in the basking light of the windows. This created a clean backdrop and a very modern take on the Hideaway Cellars available spaces. Hideaway Cellars is a gem in the sodo area. There is so much space here with great opportunities for installations and plenty of areas to move throughout during your event.

The Ballerina's Grace

The ballerina, with her flowing tulle skirt and effortless poise, adds a dynamic element to the shoot. Her movements, captured in stunning photographs, create a sense of movement and energy. She embodies the spirit of the shoot: graceful, romantic, and unforgettable. We created a whole tablescape from the inspiration of the whimsy and movement. Growing out of the middle of the table, the stems of the flowers are just as important as the blooms are in displaying the movement in this creation. (This table is ABSOLUTELY part of our rental inventory and we would be stoked to recreate it for your wedding day!)

The little touches

Stefanie with Forever Events brought her amazing eye for perfection and chose the perfect table elements to give that head table or sweetheart table the royal treatment.
